The superbowl, hunting opener, fishing opener, things like this – why do we love them so much?
I think because they are like little Christmas’s. You know everone is in a good mood and plenty of food and just spending time together. It’s good we have these events in our lives, if not for the mental breaks then atleast for the time with the ones we love.
I’m sure I’ll be snoozing by half time….that’s how I missed the wardrobe malfunction a few years back!

the things I wish for and wish for over and over again….
I wish that when I die my kids know, they made my life complete. On July 6th or maybe July 7th my life was complete. Not a finished complete, but this more I’m whole complete. Each day with them after the day they were born has been this incredible free bonus of loot I found. Not the kind that makes you stinking rich, but the kind that lets you laugh on a bad day or cry at a good movie. From the warm hugs of my youngest to the moments of discovery in my oldest, to sweet smiles of my middle son. I pray and wish they knew how much they were part of my over abundance of admiration and love for their mother.
I wish I had the ability to take words and deeds back, not because they hurt me, but I know I have hurt others. I’m sure, and I have been told my words were lack of a sense of clear thought in a moment of anger, not that it makes it okay, more to that it probably shows my weakness.
I wish I had more time to write my list of wishes…but back to work.
How messed up are we as humans that we go into utter shutdown mode with a scare of a virus called the SWINE FLU, I mean the amount of money spent teaching me how to cough correctly just at work could have probably been enough to feed a family of four for a year in china….
What really pisses me off about this whole scare is NOT ONCE DID YOU HEAR THIS WHEN SOMEONE GOT CANCER! I mean a friend of ours found out tonight her uncle has cancer…shit almost everyday you hear about someone new…..where is the swine flu maps showing all the cancer victims???? Why aren’t we breaking into television shows scaring our kids to death about cancer?
MEDIA SCARE … we need a media scare!!! Why don’t we tell people its probably in the water, or in the air, shit people get it just working….where the fuck is my NEWS BREAK ABOUT CANCER!!!
